Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
InvoiceMedley is operated by Paul Bujak, doing business as InvoiceMedley, in the State of Illinois, United States. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely as a hash).
- Business and invoice data: business details, logos, client names and contact information, and the invoices you create.
- Payment-related data: if you connect a payment provider such as Stripe, payment status information is exchanged so invoices can be marked paid. We do not store your clients' full card numbers.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service running and secure.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the service: creating invoices, generating PDFs, sending invoice emails, and tracking payments.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot problems.
- To communicate with you about your account and the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to operate InvoiceMedley — such as hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing (e.g., Stripe) — and only to the extent required. We may also disclose information if required by law.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. If you close your account, you can request deletion of your data by emailing info@invoicemedley.com.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
6. Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your settings, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.
7. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
