Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

InvoiceMedley is operated by Paul Bujak, doing business as InvoiceMedley, in the State of Illinois, United States ("InvoiceMedley," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. The Service

InvoiceMedley lets you create, send, and track professional invoices, generate PDFs, manage client records, and accept payments through payment links you connect (such as Stripe). We provide the invoicing tools; payments are processed by your connected payment provider under their own terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the service.

4. Free Trial and Billing

New users receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start, and you may cancel anytime. After the trial, continued use of paid features requires a paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the invoices, client data, logos, and other content you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, display, and transmit that content to operate the service (for example, emailing an invoice to your client). You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and lawful.

6. Acceptable Use

7. Payments and Taxes

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the amounts you invoice, for collecting and remitting any applicable taxes, and for your relationship with your clients and payment processor.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceMedley's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (such as limitations of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
